Honestly, I’m at my wit’s end with my 2017 Ghibli’s air conditioning. The compressor clutch keeps clicking on and off every few seconds, and the air never gets properly cold even when I’m cruising on the highway . I had it recharged at a random garage last month and it worked okay for like two weeks before this clicking started, so I’ve learned my lesson about taking it to people who don’t really know these cars. A friend who owns a Levante said I should find a proper Maserati AC workshop in Sharjah instead of letting general mechanics poke around, because apparently these systems are super sensitive to the exact refrigerant oil type and pressure specs . I don’t mind driving to Industrial Area 6 or even near the Sharjah-Dubai border if the shop actually knows these Italian cars and won’t just throw parts at it. I came across a listing that mentions Veteran Maserati Air Conditioning Repair and they seem to specialize in these complex systems, but I wanted to see if anyone here has actually used a shop in Sharjah that properly diagnosed a similar issue and fixed the root cause rather than just guessing. That clicking sound is usually the compressor clutch cycling because the system’s low on charge or pressure keeps dropping, classic sign of a leak somewhere. Whoever recharged it last month clearly didn’t check for that before sending you off. Get a proper pressure test before anything else.

Maserati’s are picky about refrigerant oil type, my Quattroporte had similar clicking that turned out to be the wrong oil used in a previous recharge messing with the compressor cycle. Make sure whoever you use actually knows the exact spec for these cars, not just general “Italian cars” experience.

Looked at that caracrepairsharjah.ae listing, specializing specifically in Maserati systems rather than just luxury brands broadly is a decent sign. I’d still call ahead and ask if they’ve dealt with a Ghibli’s clicking compressor issue specifically before booking in.

Industrial Area 6 has a couple of shops that know exotics properly but plenty that just guess with these systems too. Clicking on and off after a “recharge” strongly suggests they never actually found the leak, just topped it up temporarily. Don’t pay for parts to get thrown at it without a real diagnosis first.

Had almost the same clicking issue on my Levante, ended up being a failing pressure switch just like you’re guessing, not the compressor at all. Good shop caught it with proper diagnostics instead of just swapping parts randomly. Hope you find someone solid before the heat really sets in.
