Why does my 613 closure wig look like a celebrity wig ?
Keeping a blonde wig looking good isn’t always as easy as it seems! A 613 closure wig looks gorgeous, but maintaining that blonde shade and keeping the hair soft can take a little effort.
One thing I’ve noticed with blonde hair is that it can start looking yellow or brassy over time. This can happen because of hard water, product buildup, or frequent heat styling. Purple shampoo can help tone down yellow shades, but don’t use it too often. Otherwise, your blonde hair might end up looking dull or even slightly purple!
Dryness is another issue to watch out for. Since 613 hair has been processed to achieve that light blonde color, it can be more delicate than darker hair. Using a moisturizing conditioner and deep-conditioning the hair occasionally can help keep it feeling soft. When detangling, start at the ends and work your way up to avoid unnecessary breakage.
Also, be careful around the closure. Applying too much oil or styling product near the lace can leave buildup and affect how natural it looks. Handle the lace gently when installing or removing the wig, too.
If you enjoy styling your wig with a flat iron or curling wand, try not to overdo the heat. Use a heat protectant and keep the temperature at a reasonable level to help prevent dryness and damage.
The best thing you can do is stick to a simple care routine. Wash the wig when needed, condition it properly, detangle it gently, and store it carefully when you’re not wearing it.
A little extra care can go a long way in keeping your blonde wig looking fresh without making wig maintenance feel like another full-time job!
