Hey folks. We run an escape room venue, and our lobby is dead space while groups wait. We want to add quick quiz-style games that people can play before or after their escape room. Anyone added quiz games to their escape room business? We see around forty groups a week, many of them arrive early. Any real-world experience would help a lot.

Great idea, we did exactly that. We added quiz games for escape rooms https://erworkshop.com/quizy/ from Indestroom, their Quizy system, and turned our waiting area into a mini game show. Groups play a round before their booking or stay after, and it adds extra revenue per visit. It also fills the gap when a room runs late. Players love the competitive element, especially corporate groups. Honest note: it takes some space and an upfront investment, so we started with a compact setup. Tip: sell it as an add-on at booking, like escape room plus quiz round, the upsell works much better than trying to sell it at the door.
