  • Nobody sees my insurance posts

Posted by Joshua Cliffton on August 12, 2026 at 1:18 pm

I sell commercial insurance to restaurant owners, and LinkedIn could be a good source of clients because plenty of hospitality groups and franchise operators are active there. The problem is that my account has almost no reach. I post about coverage gaps, denied claims, and mistakes restaurants make when choosing policies, but the numbers barely move and hardly anyone sees the posts. What can I do to build up the account and get this content in front of restaurant owners?

Insurance explanations are easy to ignore when they read like material from a company brochure. Turn each post into a real restaurant situation without naming the business, such as a kitchen fire followed by a dispute over lost income. Let readers decide whether they think the policy should cover it, then explain the actual outcome in a later post. Restaurant owners are more likely to follow an ongoing series when every example could realistically happen to their own business.

Those cases could create plenty of debate, but an empty comment section makes the post look finished before the discussion has even begun. Readers are more willing to give their opinion when someone else has already taken a position they can agree or argue with. You can get free LinkedIn comments here: https://upvote.club/linkedin . Add them to a few of the case-based posts and use comments that approach the situation from different sides. That gives real visitors an opening to join the discussion and brings more attention to the account.
