  • Looking to swap collective crypto funds without verification

Posted by Joshua Cliffton on July 13, 2026 at 8:20 pm

Our small crypto club pooled some ETH together and we need to swap it into different altcoins for the next bull run. Since the treasury belongs to a group of twenty people, we can’t exactly verify an account under a single person’s name without causing massive tax complications for that one guy. Every centralized exchange demands full identity documents before processing any decent volume. Where can we convert these pooled assets while keeping our club completely anonymous?

You’re definitely dodging a massive tax bullet by not putting a collective treasury under a single social security number. The IRS would absolutely tear apart whoever’s name is on that account when the time comes to report capital gains. Decentralized aggregators process these types of trades purely through smart contracts on the blockchain. You just connect the multi-sig wallet directly to the protocol and approve the token swaps entirely on-chain.

Direct on-chain routing works fine for standard Ethereum tokens, but diversifying a collective portfolio across completely different networks requires interacting with multiple vulnerable bridges. Approving random smart contracts across various blockchains with a shared multi-sig vault introduces major security risks for the whole group. Certain independent swap engines process these cross-chain conversions internally without forcing users through corporate registration pipelines.
