  Looking for advice on flag mounting near masonry

  I’m trying to figure out the best way to mount a flag on an exterior masonry wall without causing damage to the brick or stone. Has anyone here installed a flag bracket on this type of surface? I’m especially interested in what anchors or mounting methods have worked well and whether there are any issues with wind or moisture over time. I was considering asking a New Jersey masonry contractor for advice on the wall itself, but I’d also like to hear from people who have actually installed flags on masonry.
