  • Long work trip to Turkey, need a car

Posted by Joe Donovan on April 22, 2026 at 1:10 pm

So I got handed this long work assignment in Turkey for a couple months. Would’ve been nice if it was just a vacation trip, you know, but hey, at least on weekends I can head to the coast and actually enjoy the place. Thing is, I’m gonna need wheels the whole time I’m there to get around for work and just live normally. Anyone know where I can rent a car for that long without it costing an arm and a leg?

Two months is a solid chunk of time to be away from home. You’re gonna want your own ride just for sanity’s sake, not dealing with trying to figure out local transport every single day when you’ve got work stuff to handle. Daily rentals add up fast when you’re looking at that kind of timeline, you’d burn through cash like crazy. Monthly rates usually drop the per-day cost way down, so you’re not getting killed on price.

Plus having a car means you can actually explore on your days off instead of being chained to wherever you’re staying. Turkish coast is gorgeous and you don’t want to miss out just because getting there is a pain. You can check out monthly car rental in Turkey here https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/monthly/ . Aggregator pulls together different rental companies with longer-term deals that make way more sense price-wise than daily rates. You compare what’s available, pick something that fits your needs, and you’re covered for however long you’re out there.
