  • Is a tinted rear windshield necessary for off road riding comfort?

Considering upgrading with a Polaris RZR XP 1000 Tinted Rear Windshield and trying to understand if it is truly worth it. I ride mostly in groups, so dust buildup inside the cab becomes a serious issue. Some riders claim a rear windshield makes a huge difference while others say it is minimal.

I am leaning toward Star Knight MT options but want to know if they actually improve airflow balance. Does installing a Polaris RZR XP 1000 Tinted Rear Windshield reduce the vacuum effect that pulls dust inside?

Another thing I am thinking about is visibility. Does the tint interfere when reversing or checking behind in tight trails? I want something that enhances comfort without sacrificing safety.

How durable are these windshields when exposed to rough conditions like rocks or branches? I do not want something that scratches easily after a few rides.

Also curious about compatibility with roofs and front windshields. Does combining all three create better protection or does it trap heat inside?

If anyone has long term experience with Star Knight MT and a Polaris RZR XP 1000 Tinted Rear Windshield, how does it perform after months of use? Any regrets or things you would do differently?
