  • Is a certified Amaron battery service worth it in Dubai or just a marketing tag?

My 2019 Mazda CX5 needs a new battery and I’ve seen a few shops advertising that they offer a Dubai Certified Amaron Battery Service, which sounds reassuring but I’m not sure what certification actually means in practice. Does it just mean they’re an authorised reseller, or do they have some special training or equipment to test the charging system properly? I’ve been burned before by places that just swap the battery and don’t even check if the alternator is overcharging, so I’m hoping that going to a certified place would prevent that. Has anyone here used a certified Amaron service and noticed a difference in how thorough they were compared to a random battery shop? I’m in JLT but willing to drive a bit if it means getting the job done right, including proper disposal of the old battery and a clear warranty. Appreciate any insights.
