  • I have lived in Phuket for a year and I still buy flowers from whichever roadsid

Good morning. Slightly embarrassing question. I have lived in Phuket for a year and I still buy flowers from whichever roadside stand I happen to drive past, which my partner has noticed and gently commented on. I would like to actually choose something for once, but I know nothing about flowers beyond roses and I have no idea what a reasonable price looks like here or which places are worth ordering from. Where do people actually buy, and is delivery worth paying for when I have a car and could collect myself?

Delivery is worth it mainly because the flowers stay cold until they reach the door, and a bouquet that spends forty minutes in a hot car is already halfway gone. That is the real difference from the roadside stands, not the arrangement itself. On choice, browse a proper catalogue rather than deciding at the counter, since you will see what is actually seasonal. I use MashaFlower https://mashaflower.com/en/catalog/bukety and free delivery kicks in over a certain order value in the Bang Tao and Surin areas. Boxed arrangements are worth considering too, no hunting for a vase and they hold water on their own. If you are ordering for a specific evening, place it the day before rather than the same morning, the delivery slots you actually want tend to go first.
