How to implement Bybit copy trading for your platform?
Hello blockchain enthusiasts, I’m in the development of a crypto exchange, and at least, things are much more complicated than I imagined. Now, someone on the team (the one who came up with the idea, of course) says that we need to integrate copy trading “like Bybit” because, and I quote, “everyone wants easy wins.”
That’s why I’m looking through some documentation to find a rational way to build this without wasting time rewriting the entire backend and working all night.
After reading for a while, I came across some developer forums talking about Bybit clone scripts. Some of them already have copy trading modules or at least a standard framework to build on. It’s a plug-in, although it’s understood to be true, or, at least, it works that way.
So here I am:
-
How does real-time trade replication work across multiple accounts?
-
How do you deal with synchronization delays or sudden changes?
-
What should we do to prevent user settings like stop loss or copy rate from getting out of hand?
What I’m not doing here is a simple wallet app because I want it to be very basic, stable, scalable, and ideally, not fall to the edge of zero when a signal takes 2 seconds.
Okay… has anyone used a bybit clone script to pull this off? Or is it just creating copy trades from scratch, losing sleep, and losing sanity?
Any advice, tools, or even “what not to do” lessons are welcome. I’d rather learn from someone else’s fire drill than from doing a fire drill myself.
