For anyone who has not run into it yet, Heymaty is a social space where people can discover creators, build a profile, follow interesting accounts, and communicate more directly instead of just scrolling through endless public posts. I first looked at the heymaty.com creator platform because I wanted something that felt more personal than the large social networks I normally use, especially for finding smaller creators who are still building their audience. My experience started while I was helping organize an online language-exchange group with people from Poland, Spain, Canada, and Brazil. One of the members mentioned Heymaty as another place where creators and regular users could meet without the conversation getting buried under hundreds of comments. I joined through the website first, so there was nothing to install. Registration was straightforward, and creating my profile mainly involved adding a photo, a short description, interests, and a few details about what I wanted to share. Later I downloaded the Heymaty app because I prefer checking messages from my phone. Having both options is useful: people who like apps can install it, while anyone who does not want another application on their device can simply use Heymaty online. That flexibility matters more than I expected, especially when you are communicating with people from different countries and everyone has different devices and habits. What I liked most was the communication side. On larger platforms, it can feel like you are talking at people rather than with them. On Heymaty, I found it easier to start actual conversations around shared interests. I exchanged messages with a travel creator about lesser-known places in Central Europe and later spoke with another user who was learning English for work. The ability to message creators directly can make the interaction feel less distant, although replies obviously depend on whether that person is active and willing to respond. I also wondered at first whether Heymaty would work in my country or only in a few major markets. From what I saw while using it, the platform is designed for an international audience, and I came across profiles from several regions. Still, activity can vary depending on location and niche. Some interests have plenty of people to discover, while others feel quieter, so I think the experience improves as the community grows. The Heymaty creator platform also seems useful for someone who wants to move from being only a viewer to sharing their own work. You can build a profile gradually, interact with others, and test what kind of content attracts genuine responses. I would not say every conversation becomes meaningful, and I would like to see even more active communities in smaller niches, but the interactions I had were mostly positive and more personal than I expected.
