  • Advice on Planning a Permanent Home for a Growing Flag Team

Posted by john smit on August 27, 2026 at 3:26 pm

Our flag football group has been growing over the last few seasons, and we are starting to think beyond just renting fields for games. Has anyone here been involved in finding a long-term practice location or building a dedicated space for a league?

I’m curious about what factors teams should consider before making bigger facility decisions, such as location, costs, and future growth. Some organizers I know have looked into working with a Real Estate Advisory Firm for planning property decisions, but I would like to hear how other teams handle this process.

Oblíbené zůstávají i výherní automaty a stírací losy.

I think it makes sense to start thinking about a permanent location once the group has grown enough that renting different fields becomes inconvenient. Location would probably be one of my first concerns, especially making sure it is easy for most players to reach. I’d also look carefully at the total costs, not just the purchase or rental price, because maintenance and insurance could add up quickly. Planning for future growth seems important too, since a space that works for the current group might feel small in a couple of years. It could be helpful to get some professional advice before making such a big long-term commitment. winzoria
