English contains many words that look and sound similar but serve different grammatical purposes. One common example is “underwent” and “undergone.” Both words come from the verb “undergo,” and both describe experiencing something, such as a change, treatment, process, or difficult situation. However, they cannot be used interchangeably. Understanding the difference between these two forms can improve your Grammar and make your writing clearer, more accurate, and more professional.
