  • I’m a student and I need a VPN to access research materials

Hi folks! I’m a student and I need a VPN to access research materials that are blocked in my country’s university network. I also want to watch Netflix shows from other regions. Problem is, I’m on a tight budget. Are there any decent free VPN options, or do I really need to pay for a premium service?

<div>Hi! For students on a budget, there are actually good options that won’t break the bank. Check out Turbo VPN – it’s perfect for your situation because they offer both free and premium tiers. The free version gives you access to select server locations with essential encryption, which should be enough for accessing blocked research materials and casual streaming. If you need more (unlimited bandwidth, all 10,000+ servers, ad-free experience), their Premium plan is very affordable. What’s great for students: works on multiple devices simultaneously, bypasses university network restrictions easily, specialized streaming servers for Netflix, Disney+, etc. I used the free version throughout my undergrad and upgraded to Premium when I needed faster speeds for downloading research papers and streaming 4K content. One Premium account covers up to 5 devices, so you could even split it with roommates to make it super cheap. Definitely worth trying the free tier first to see if it meets your needs!</div><div><style type=”text/css”></style></div>
