Germination Rates Are Not Guaranteed
Most banks quote rates around ninety percent, but that figure assumes fresh stock and a proper germination method, neither of which is always the case. Old seeds that sat in a warm warehouse can drop well below that. I have had better luck with vendors that date their batches, and the storage and freshness info at https://budweedseeds.com was more detailed than most when I compared a few shops last spring. Even so, I always order a couple more than I plan to grow.
